Welcome to Dr. Iverson's Office

Dr. Iverson is a graduate of Northwestern University Medical School. He completed his residency in Internal Medicine in San Diego, CA with the Scripps Mercy Internal Medicine program, a highly rated program nationally. Upon completion, he entered private practice in San Diego and recently moved to Winchester, KY. He is American Board Certified in Internal Medicine and has focused his post graduate education in Cardiovascular Disease. In addition to his medical training, Dr. Iverson is also certified in ultrasound technology for cardiac studies (RDCS) and vascular (RVS) studies. Dr. Iverson is the recipient of the Young Internist of the Year award from the American College of Physicians. He has also achieved the level of Fellow, American College of Physicians (FACP). Professional memberships include the American Medical Association (AMA) and American College of Physicians (ACP). He previously was on the Board of Directors for the Association of American Physicians and Surgeons (AAPS). Dr. Iverson has been in clinical practice in San Diego for over 30 years prior to becoming established locally in Winchester.

Clinical and Ultrasound

Our clinical staff is trained by professional schools for medical assisting and work under physician supervision to care for the patients. Our ultrasound technologists have been trained in nationally recognized programs, supplement their knowledge with continuing education programs and have excellent practical clinical experience. All ultrasound staff is certified or certification eligible.

Administration and Billing

The administrative/billing staff has over 30 years experience working with all types of insurance plans, from private insurance to government plans, including Medicare and Champus.
